Nobel laureate Amartya Sen today said that Government should ban the homework and stop private tuitions.
Amartya Sen said “There should be no rule for homework to complete basic education on the part of school children at their elementary level when they are very young,”
According to Amartya Sen 78 per cent of parents who sent their kids to free primary schools and Sishu Shiksha Kendras in rural Bengal feel private tuitions are unavoidable.
It would be interesting to see what our policy makers think and how kapil sibal would improve the infrastructure of Primary Education in India
