This is easier said than done, so it’s best to recruit the support of your partner to do an impartial job of porn destruction. </p>
<p>2. Change Your Social Ids</p>
<p>Change your email IDs, instant messenger IDs and your FaceBook, YouTube and Twitter identities. Porn addicts often stay in touch with other porn watchers and addicts, sharing and exchanging porn over the internet. Ruthlessly delete this alter ego of yours, and create fresh social identifications and profiles on the net. This might mean losing some of your ‘friends’ but it’s best to start afresh.</p>
<p>3. Stop Download Porn Torrents</p>
<p>If you’re using torrent applications to download pirated porn, stop it immediately. If you cannot just stop, delete all your torrent applications as well. Piracy is illegal, anyway. If you’re serious about your porn de-addiction, you know that this is a necessary step, as it’s way too easy to download porn these days.</p>
<p>4. Restrict Temptations </p>
<p>Disable popups and cookies. Change your computer’s password, or, if you need to be away from the computer for a while, ask your partner to change the password for you. Use a different route to work or entertainment, if you’re bothered by the neighborhood adult store. </p>
<p>5. Set Up Internet Filters</p>
<p>Sometimes temptation comes to you in the way of a stray pop-up. Subscribe to an Internet Service Provider who can filter all unnecessary information from the server side. Consider using a first rate server-side filter such as Bsafe for your computer.</p>
<p>6. Communicate To Your Partner</p>
<p>Come out of the dark and get it out in the open. Porn addiction is like any other – addicts tend to feed their addiction in the dark, behind closed doors. Open your door and allow free air and sunshine to enter. Communicate freely to your partner and confess your addiction, if you can. If you’re not able to do this, confess to your priest, religious leader, or perhaps your therapist. </p>
<p>7. Identity Why You’re Attracted To Porn</p>
<p>Identify exactly why you’re irresistibly drawn to porn. You can either do this by yourself or with your therapist’s help. What are the triggers? Are you oversexed, and are unable to find sufficient expression with your partner? Are you bored with your sex life? Are you bored out of your mind? Work it out with your partner or your therapist and find constructive ways to find the right outlet for your triggers.</p>
<p>8. Join A Support Group</p>
<p>As with any other de-addiction program, you need the help of a support group whom you meet daily. When you make your daily report progress, it causes you to be accountable about your addiction and developments. It’s a good idea to a support group such as the 12-step Sexaholics Anonymous group. The point is to report daily to a group or a close friend or advisor, who can check up on you when you don’t make your report. </p>
<p>9. Use Cash As A Motivation Point</p>
<p>If you’re using your friend as your accountability partner, place a large sum of cash in that person’s account. This money should be returned to you if you regularly make progress and report daily. Fix a time span for your de-addiction. If you don’t conform to your progress schedule, you forfeit the money. Losing money is a great motivator, and therapists feel that this method will help addicts see the light.</p>
<p>10. Use Accountability Websites</p>
<p>If you don’t have an accountability partner, use the help of online accountability forums to deal with your addiction. Some of these are Blazing Grace Forum (www.blazinggrace.org/forums/), Affirmware (www.affirmware.com.au/), Freedom From Porn Addiction (www.freedomfrompornaddiction.com/) and Covenant Eyes (www.covenanteyes.com/).</p>
<p>11. Shift Your Computer</p>
<p>Shift your computer to your living room so that others can see what’s on your screen. At night, shut down the computer and sleep in your room, away from the temptation of the computer.</p>
<p>12. Get Religious Support</p>
<p>Whether you’re religious or not, if you believe in God, you can turn to your church or temple for support. Join a volunteer service group, or a religious music group to find a spiritual way out of your addiction. </p>

Some children don’t need as much sleep as others do. However, it’s best to understand the average sleep requirements of your child based on his or her age and conform to them. </p>
<p>When Your Baby Is Aged Between 0 To 6 Months</p>
<p>A newborn baby typically sleeps between 15 to 18 hours a day, in total. This sleep takes place in three four short naps of two to four hours each, with baby waking up for feeds in between. Circadian rhythms are not developed in newborn babies, which is why their sleep patterns are not related to the cycle of daylight and nighttime. </p>
<p>Babies under six months old need sixteen to twenty hours of sleep a day. Babies grow the fastest during these 6 months, which is why they need maximum rest. There’s no point in putting your baby into any kind of sleep schedule now, since his biological clock is not developed. Best to let baby sleep when he feels like it. </p>
<p>When your baby is 6 weeks old, you’ll note the emergence of a regular sleep pattern. Your baby might sleep for four to six hours at a stretch, and more towards the evening than in the morning.<br />
When Your Baby Is Aged Between 6 To 12 Months</p>
<p>After crossing the 6 month period, babies stay active for a few more hours during the night. Sleep requirement comes down from 20 hours to 15 hours a day. By the time your infant is 11 months old, he or she will sleep only 12 hours a day. Since your baby is more active and social at this stage, he or she might resist sleep and display cranky behavior. Biological rhythms start to mature at this stage, so it’s a good idea to establish healthy sleep habits at this stage. See that baby gets at least 12 hours every night. </p>
<p>A baby’s nap schedule also starts getting established. Your baby may take two to three naps a day, with the first nap at 9 a.m. for an hour, with the second nap at noon for two hours and the late afternoon nap at 3 p.m. for three hours. As you can see, the closer it is to night, the longer the naps; this indicates that baby’s body recognizes night as the right time to sleep.</p>
<p>When Your Child Is Aged Between 1 To 3 Years </p>
<p>Children need about twelve hours of sleep between the ages of 1 to 3 years. Some children will sleep longer while some can make do with just 12 hours. It’s good for your baby to get a stretch of sleep, which means you have to try and reduce nap time to just one nap in the afternoon.<br />
Your child is happy and content when nap times and bed times are well defined. Make your child sleep in a separate cot, and ease his or her fears. Between 1 to 3 years is when fear of the dark and imaginary monsters will take hold. By establishing a firm bedtime, you can provide baby a firm schedule which is a comfort to baby.</p>
<p>As your baby gets older, the daily afternoon nap time will reduce, with your child napping for an hour or so. Most of the sleep is concentrated during the night. Put your baby to bed by 7 p.m. and ensure he doesn’t wake till 8 a.m.</p>
<p>When Your Child Is Aged Between 3 To 10 Years </p>
<p>Children of this age need twelve hours for proper growth and development. They’ll grow out of naps gradually. At 3 years of age, your child may still be napping but by 5, he or she will stop needing it.  With school hours becoming longer and various diversions in the form of TV and computers beckoning them, sleep becomes a foregone luxury. . Your child may stall to go to sleep, wanting to enjoy the newly-discovered pleasures. Resist these stalling techniques and explain to the child how he or she will grow taller and stronger by sleeping longer.  The bedtimes don’t change; children between 3 to 10 years of age need to be in bed by 7 and wake up by 7 or so. </p>
<p>When Your Child Is Aged Between 11 To 12 Years </p>
<p>Children in this age group require about ten to eleven hours of sleep a day. Bedtimes tend to get postponed owing to school schedules, family activities, games and constant distractions. 12 years old tend to sleep by 9 p.m., with some trying to wing it till 10 sometimes. Children of this age get an average of 9 hours a night, though they should sleep a bit more, as the growth spurts they experience during this pre-pubescent stage phase are high. </p>
<p>When Your Child Is Aged Between 12 To 18 Years</p>
<p>From 12 to 18, your child will grow at an alarming rate. Puberty takes its toll and sleep patterns are often disturbed by hormonal activity. It’s all the more important to ensure that your child locks up his computer and gets at least 9 hours of shut-eye. Teenagers need more sleep than youngsters, owing to the additional growth. In a few short years, your youngster is getting readied to be an adult. Brain cells, body cells and reproductive cells grow at an alarming rate. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The study discovered that average IQ of a non-smoker was about 101, while smoker&#8217;s average was about 94. The IQ of a smoker who can smoke more than a packet in a day lie around 90. </p>
<p>The study directed by Prof. Mark Weiser of Tel Aviv University&#8217;s Department of Psychiatry and the Sheba Medical Center on 18 to 21 yrs old men working in the Israeli army.</p>
<p><strong>This study also tracked two twin brothers, in this case one of the twin smoked and he registered lower IQ on average than the non-smoker twin.</strong></p>
<p>Researchers took data from more than 20,000 men, some of them had left army, some of them are in army and some of them are planning to join army. During this investigation it was found that all men acquire good health, since they had to keep their health according to the norms of army. Researchers found few surprising results, 28 percent are sample smokers smoking one or more cigarettesin a day, 3 percent are ex-smokers and 68 percent are non-smokers.</p>

<p>Fresh vegetables take a fortnight to reach the table after being picked from the farm, though the common belief of 80 percent shoppers was that fresh vegetables in supermarkets are not more than four days old. Important nutrients in fresh vegetables diminish between the process of harvesting, supermarket stay, home, and the actual consumption.</p>

<p>Professor Winfried Marz who conducted study said &#8221; Men who ensure that their body is at least sufficiently supplied with vitamin D are doing good for their testosterone levels and their libido among other thing&#8221; </p>
<p>Jessica Harris of Cancer Research UK said: &#8220;Enjoying the sun safely while taking care not to burn should help people strike a balance between making enough vitamin D and avoiding a higher risk of skin cancer.</p>
<p>&#8220;People can also top up their levels of vitamin D by eating more foods like oily fish such as salmon, trout or mackerel.&#8221; </p>

Messersmith, who was one of the study&#8217;s leaders and is professor of biomedical engineering at Northwestern&#8217;s McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science.
