There’s a great deal of variance between the food safety and sanitation practices that are followed in different countries and among different regions of the same country. This makes it imperative that you, the traveler, should take all possible precautions to guard against food poisoning.

1.READ RESTAURANT REVIEWS
You can tell a great deal about the quality of the food by reading previous complaints of food poisoning. Even if the restaurant in question has improved its offerings, it’s best to stay away.

2.AVOID TAP WATER
No matter where you travel, avoid tap water. Either carry bottled mineral water with you at all times, or ask your hotel to boil water for ten minutes and fill up a few bottles for you.

3.RESEARCH NATIVE DISEASES AND FOOD-BORNE ILLNESSES
If you are visiting a different country, it’s best to know everything that you can about native diseases and food-borne illnesses. Look up the Center for Disease Control’s website for a list of food-borne diseases in different countries.

4.EXERT CAUTION
Always remember that native people have been exposed to the native microorganisms, parasites and germs in their environment since childhood. So don’t be brave and try out local food that’s not prepared using strict hygiene standards, even if you’re tempted.

5.WATCH THE COOKING PROCESS
If you must eat outside on road stalls, watch the cook in action. Does the cook wear gloves while handling the food? Does the cook wash his or her hands often? What is the condition of the cook’s nails? How clean are the cook’s clothes? Be sure to check the water that’s used to cook the food as well.

6.EVALUATE THE LOCALS THAT EAT AT A ROAD STALL
Before you decide to eat at a road stall, evaluate the stall’s patrons. If well-dressed, educated people are eating there, it’s a good bet that the stall is fairly hygienic.

7.EAT SMALLER PORTIONS
Eating small portions limits your exposure to potential contamination from pathogens in the food. Depending on your resistance to these pathogens, your body may not react negatively to small portions, but will react if you eat large portions of the food.

8.AVOID BEVERAGES CONTAINING ICE
Restaurants use tap water to make ice in their freezers. Freezing does not kill several strains of bacteria, and a freezer that’s not been cleaned for ages will become home to multiple strains of bacteria. Avoid drinking any beverages that come with ice cubes. Read these guidelines put up by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on how to drink safe water: wwwn.cdc.gov/travel/contentWaterTreatment.aspx

9.AVOID RAW VEGGIES AND FRUITS
Raw vegetables and fruits are likely to contain more bacteria if they’re not washed thoroughly. Don’t order a salad at a restaurant unless you’re sure of the restaurant’s reputation. Buy fresh fruit from farmer’s markets to avoid pesticides. Eat only those fruits that have a thick, protective peel on them such as bananas and oranges.

10.DRINK MILK WITH CARE
Milk is not pasteurized as per standards in all countries. No matter what kind of milk you buy, boil it in a clean vessel and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. This will destroy the bacteria. Don’t buy cheese, yoghurt or butter unless they’ve been recently manufactured and stored under the recommended temperatures.

11.SHOP AT LARGE SUPERMARKETS
When you’re traveling abroad, it’s best to shop at large supermarkets as these will ensure their reputation by stocking the right stuff. Check product labels and expiry dates. Always check with the shop assistants if you’re not sure about a label.

12.EXERT CARE WHILE EATING EGGS AND SEAFOOD
It’s best to avoid eating egg dishes, meat dishes or seafood dishes unless the restaurant comes very highly recommended. Remember to speak to the chef and find out if the dish was kept covered after cooking. Don’t eat any seafood unless it’s completely cooked.

13.DON’T ORDER FROM THE MENU
Some restaurants make standard menu dishes in advance and keep them refrigerated. This gives rise to additional contamination even if the food is cooked properly. Avoid ordering standard dishes and ask the chef to cook you basic stuff like boiled eggs or steamed veggies.

14.BE AWARE OF INGREDIENTS
Before ordering your dish, be aware of what goes into it. Raw eggs are used in some sauces and foods. Partially cooked meat and partially cooked shrimp are used in some exotic dishes. Anything that is not fully cooked should create suspicion in you and you should avoid them.

15.WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN
Sometimes the food you eat might be clean but might get contaminated because of your dirty hands. Always carry hand sanitizers and pocket sized anti-bacterial soaps and wipes with you. Make sure you clean the inside of your nails as well before touching food.

If I were in the time of the British reign in India! These are my feelings when I visited India’s capital Delhi. Here I’m to describe its historical glory through it’s historical places & architectures.

Is it the India Gate that draws so many historians towards Delhi? Not only is this but also there many things about Delhi. Here I’ll start with the India Gate. The India Gate is actually the national monument of India at the midst of New Delhi. It stands upright to remind the memory of 90,000 soldiers of the British Indian army who laid down their lives in World War 1 & the third Anglo-Afghan war. It used to contain a statue of King George the fifth under the empty canopy. It was later relocated in the Coronation Park. It has marked as the monument of the Indian Soldiers who died for the country.

Then here comes the Qutub Minar, the most magnificent architecture of the Mughal’s in Delhi according to some historian. Qutd-ud-Din Aibek, sultan of the Slave Dynasty. It’s a tower that stands up to a height of seventy two meters. It’s a sandstone tower with the coverings from the Qur’anic verses. It was built to signify the Muslim domination in Delhi & to call Azan. Qutb-ud-Din built only the first floor & his successors carried on the rest task. It is the first Muslim great architecture in India. It’s a sandstone tower. It has some other structures around it.

I just mentioned about two architectures of Delhi. Also there are Red Fort, Delhi Jama Masque, Redemption church & many more that you can’t finish visiting in a couple of days.

After the CVC report which shows the huge corruption that took place in CommonWealth Games, Suresh Kalmadi Has given a statement. According to him , he is only responsible for running the games and have no association with the Government Organizations which are doing the construction of Stadiums.

Here is the Interview which Suresh Kalmadi gave to CNN-IBN

CNN-IBN: The CVC report, which CNN-IBN has a copy of, suggests corruption rampant in the organisation of the Commonwealth Games. As chairman of the Organisisng Committee what do you have to say to these charges?
Suresh Kalmadi: We have nothing to do with the stadiums’ contruction or anything else. Now we are going to take over the stadiums which are already built by the respective departments. We are not in this business at all.

CNN-IBN: But should you not have exercised greater due diligence while the stadiums were being constructed? Reports suggest that the stadiums are not up to the mark, way below the acceptable standards.

Suresh Kalmadi: We are only concerned about the stadium surface should be up to date. That’s it.

CNN-IBN: The CVC report also suggests that some material used in the construction of the stadiums is not up to the mark. Will you take up this issue with the agencies responsible for the construction of the stadiums?

Suresh Kalmadi: We will definitely have to look at it.

CNN-IBN: You are passing the buck. Surely the buck must stop somewhere.

Suresh Kalmadi: My job is to run the Game.

CNN-IBN: The CVC report suggesting corruption comes a day after former Sports minister Mani Shankar Aiyar slammed the Organising Committee and the Games, per se. What do you have to say to such charges?

Suresh Kalmadi: I am sure it will go well.

CNN-IBN: Is there a worry that the Games have been stained by these allegations of corruption?

Suresh Kalmadi: We have nothing to do with the construction part of the Games.

Its Clear, that Suresh Kalmadi is now running away and just want to save his Ass , Asshole

Today you might be a little confused as to why there is no Press Release attached to this mail. A mistake from our end? Well yes a deliberate one! On this special occasion we would like YOU to blog about what YOU thought of Tata DOCOMO throughout this past year. What was your impression about our year long journey and our debut into the Telecom industry.

I bought an Intex IN 4470 last week and after using it 4-5 days , I feel that Its the good time to write my review and to tell what is best in this mobile. First Lets talk about the Good things.

It is the cheapest mobile and that was the main reason I bought it. I’m a hardcore Nokia User , Although I’ve tried Samsung and Sony Ericsson mobiles in the past , But Nokia is the best. Well , but since Intex is offering so much at ...

Well , but since Intex is offering so much at so less cost, I decided to Give it a try.

Well , So we Bought Intex IN 4470. The printed price is 3900 INR , I got it at 3100 year in Ludhiana (punjab) with 1 year warranty.

Pros –

Dual Sim – I’ve only one Sim , So can’t say more
Dual Camera – You can click picture on both sides, I don’t know exact specifications but clarity is good.
Expandable Memory – Company claims it to be of 8 Gb , I’m using only 2 Gb memory card
They have Bluetooth , FM radio and other things, I’ve tested them
Battery Life is good – In Normal usage ,A full charged mobile can last for 2-3 days

Cons –

Well I find more cons than Pros.

High Volume – The biggest thing I didn’t liked about the mobile is its big speakers. Even at the lowest settings the volume of songs or ring tones is too high that it becomes a noise and painful for years.

Weird Battery Charging – Well this is the weirdest thing I’ve seen in this mobile. The charging stops of its own, if a miss call or a message comes to your mobile and it will start only if you read the message of see from where you got the miss call.
Slow Processing time – Processing time is very high. You’ve to wait for 10-15 seconds for a mobile to play song.

Why you should Buy this

If you are looking for a cheap mobile with lot of features

Why You should not Buy this

If you have money to spend on quality and can afford a better mobile.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

Software Giant Microsoft have outsourced some of the internal IT services to Outsourcing Giant Infosys. This three year outsourcing contract is worth over $100 Million.

According to this contract Infosys will manage the internal information technology services, including help-desk support, for Microsoft from centers across 104 countries.

Infosys, a longtime Microsoft partner, says it will streamline implementation processes, simplify support and service, and lower enterprise costs by using the latest Microsoft products, including Windows 7.

“This is a huge deal for two reasons,” said Marc Harrison, president of Silicon East, a Microsoft solution provider in Manalapan, N.J. “First, obviously Microsoft bypassed all of their U.S.-based partners and chose Infosys. Second, this will give Infosys a tremendous competitive advantage globally.”

Having early access to Microsoft technologies will allow Infosys not only to be months ahead of everyone else at product launch, it’ll also enable the company to help shape the feature sets of future Microsoft offerings, according to Harrison.

What’s interesting is that Infosys was the only party that issued a press release about the deal, and it isn’t talking about how much money is involved. As noted elsewhere, Microsoft is downplaying the significance of the deal and insisted that it doesn’t change the ratio of its internal and outsourced support.

“This deal is simply a consolidation of work [IT support services] that used to be provided by multiple providers to a single provider, Infosys,” a Microsoft spokesperson said in an e-mail. “Microsoft has had a concentrated effort to be more efficient and save money and this was a major area where we could do this. This new contract will not impact internal resources.”

Microsoft has been outsourcing some of its internal IT support and operations tasks for years, but it has maintained an advanced Help Desk that provides support to internal employees, says Rennie Sawade, communications chair for WashTech, a union-affiliated organization formed by Microsoft contractors in 1998 to advocate for tech workers. This group could be targeted in future layoffs, according to Sawade.

What’s ironic is that cost savings is a huge focus in Microsoft’s product marketing. In the run-up to Windows 7′s launch last year, Microsoft said Windows 7, when deployed in conjunction with System Center Operations Manager and System Center Configuration Manager, would greatly reduce a company’s user support costs.

Likewise, in touting the benefits of Windows Server 2008 R2, Microsoft said its virtualization features would not only significantly reduce the cost of data center hardware provisioning and management, they’d also let customers leverage existing investments in infrastructure tools and internal Windows server expertise.
