After Amazon’s Kindle; Barnes and Noble’s Nook; Apple’s iPad; Sony’s Reader.

Indian company Infibeam has launched the first e-reader (India’s own kindle) pi.

Pi weighs around 180 gram and has an internal memory of 512 Mb equivalent to 350 books expandable up to 4GB via SD Slot. According to the company CEO Vishal Mehta ” Infibeam was working on Pi from last two years, and extensive research and development has been done to create this device.”

The device comes with a battery life of four days or 10,000 refreshes and is available just at Rs. 9,999/-.

    Ebook readers are pretty amazing! Soon they will be standard everywhere. They are great for students, traveling, business people – everyone! I have not heard of the Pi before, but it looks like a fabulous device.
