Google India Internet Bus Reached Jaipur
Google India Internet Bus has reached Jaipur today. The Google Internet Bus Project is to educate the people in villages and far flung areas about the Internet and how they can use it to make their lives easier.
The Bus has covered villages of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh, before starting its journey in Rajasthan yesterday. The bus would remain in Rajasthan for 30 days and would cover 10 cities in Rajasthan – Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer, Beawer, Bhilwara, Udaipur, Pali, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Sikar.
The bus is equipped with High Plasma monitors and 24 hours internet connectivity and have informative content in both English and Hindi for users.
“The year 2009 has been a great journey for the Google Internet Bus. Having covered five states we touched the lives of over 460,000 people and showcased the benefit of internet and how it can revolutionize daily lives,” said Prasad Ram, head ,Google R&D, India.

Advancement of technology has made the life more easier and fast. Its a great way opted by Google to introduce people in remote areas with advantages of internet.

What a brilliant idea. They should have something like this in the UK, it would be really cool for kids if an activity like bus came round and they could all play games and learn things.
