Haryana Government Employees Took Day off For Hooda’s Son Wedding

Work in Haryana Government offices especially in Chandigarh and Panchkula have come to a standstill because most of the Haryana Government Officers took day off to attend the wedding ceremony of Deepender Singh Hooda Son Of Haryana Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda in Rohtak.

Deepender Singh Hooda is the Congress MP from Rohtak Parliament City and is marrying the daughter of senior Rajasthan Congress leader Ram Prakash Mirdha on February 21, and this is the pre-wedding bash. Around 14 regiments of police was deployed for the security arrangements of this high profile pre-wedding ceremony.

Around 30,000 guests were invited for this event. Traffic to all roads leading to the venue was diverted which created lot of problems for common man. Public transportation services were all stopped for whole day by Government so that guests don’t face any kind of traffic problems.

This is Deepender’s second marriage. The 32-year-old was earlier married Geeta Grewal, a dentist and daughter of a Haryana government official. They divorced in 2005.

    It seems stupid. Let it be Hooda’s Wedding, but how could government employees take a day off. It is a complete waste of peoples money.
