Junk Food Can Cause Depression

Junk Food Cause depression According to research done by British and French scientists, eating Junk Food may cause depression in addition to making you obese.

The study was conducted on 3,486 men and women, of various demographics. The findings revealed that there is a strong relations between the diet and symptoms of depression. All participants were around age of 55. Participants were asked to fill a questionnaire about the amount of junk food they take daily. There answers were recorded and compared with their lifestyles, physical activity and habits like smoking,drinking etc.

Scientists said that “Processed food, that are easily available in the market can gulped down when in depressive mood by hundreds of already overweight people. Controlling triggers of hunger, following a discipline for weight loss and believing in self can help overcome depression due to weight issues.”
