When I was a kid, school meant to me was just a place to meet my friends and to play with them. With time things changed and my thinking too. Studies were the only thing I hate the most and my parents wanted me to do the same thing whole day. Alike me my books were also growing up and I started focusing on my studies with the dreams for the success  in my eyes. The same story continued till 10th standard and just after that  It was the time for me to take a big decision of selecting my profession and after a number of discussions with my parents and the family friends I thought of becoming an Engineer. Although   it was not my personal decision but it was the final one.

None of my friends was with me in this race of becoming an Engineer.  After that I was never in a stable state and no peace was there in my life  as the things were totally different now and I was left with all new faces around me. I was an average student and my understanding for the different concepts of the different subjects was   also not good. I was really not interested studying the physics and the chemistry but somehow, I managed to get into a good engineering  college.

It was the college time for me and in the beginning  like every other student I was having a lot of expectations from my college life  and I started looking for the opportunities for pushing my limits and my work towards the excellence.  I started loving and enjoying  this college life because of the more freedom and less strictness.  Everything was going smoothly but then one day everything  went out of the track when I met a senior of mine and came to know that many of his classmates has not got any job during the campus placements. It was like a shock for me that how the hard work of the number of students proved useless for getting the jobs for them.

All this forced me to think  that what I will do if the same happens to me and what If I have the degree but no job to earn for my living. I also started thinking  Is this only the competition among the students making  things more complicated or the education provided by our college and my degree were really not sufficient for getting the jobs.

I also keep thinking that Is it good for the students like me to  spend their time and  money  doing the various courses offered by the different colleges  that too with a fear in the heart of not getting any job.

I really don’t understand what me, my seniors and a number of educated people moving around searching a job for them are….. Literate or The Jobless Fools???????

I am still searching a answer to this question.
