Punjab Government Going To Establish IT Park in Rajpura

Today , Punjab Government took a major decision of establishing a Infomational Technology Park over an area of 1276 acres at Rajpura.

The Decision was taken at High Level Meeting in Chandigarh by Chief Minister of Punjab Prakash Singh Badal. Badal also gave approval for acquisition of common land at six villages in Sehra, Pabra, Sehri, Takhtu Majra, Akri and Akar for the setting up of Informational Technology Park.

According to Report , The Park would be house of various Multi-National Companies operating in Business Process Outsourcing, Knowledge Process Outsourcing, Legal Process Outsourcing and Engineering Process Outsourcing.

rincipal Secretary Industries & Commerce SS Channy said ” The development of park would be done in phased manner with simultaneous development of Power, water and health care facilities in area to provide an efficient environment to future Entrepreneurs”

An internet tower with satellite connectivity for direct software export and communication and Wi-max technology for high speed wireless connectivity in SEZ has also
