Sikh Passengers Facing Problems on International Airports
With the Increase in Security Checks on all major international Airports especially in USA , there is a sudden increase in the number of cases where Sikh passengers are specifically targeted for Severe Security Checks.
According United Sikhs Organization which is campaigning for the rights of Sikh Passengers, Sikh Passengers are common targets for these security checks and have to face harassment due to this. A recent case from Poland , Where a Sikh Passenger was harassed on the name of security measures without any valid reason is just an example.
According to United Sikhs Organization , Sikhs who come to US after visiting shrines in Pakistan have to face excessive screening on all US International Airports.
According to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano ” Passenger flying to US from other countries may have to suffer such screenings”
