According to CAG report, The 2G Spectrum Scam my Indian Tele-Communication Minister A. Raja ( Also Known as Spectrum Raja) caused India Losses worth 1.76 Lakh Crores.

Its Shocking that The Congress Party which has smacked its leaders Ashok Chavan ( Former Maharashtra Minster) and Suresh Kalmadi ( President Commonwealth Organizing Committee) due to corruption allegations is not taking any action against A.Raja who is the Union Minster in Indian Government and leader of Congress ally DMK.

In news, Congress has left the decision of action on DMK. The opposition led by BJP is asking for resignation of Raja and want a JPC ( Join Parliamentary Committee) to be set for honest investigation in this matter.

Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) called for 48 Hour Shut Down in Region because of change of Stand by Central Government.

An angry TRS chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao told reporters “People of Telangana have been once again betrayed. The statement has no clarity and no time frame,” he said.

“How long will it take for the formation of Telangana state. Another 50 years? How many more people have to die,” he asked.

TRS chief was accompanied by members of the Congress and Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) legislators, who appealed youth to keep Protests Peaceful.

Also it should be noted that TRS chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao resigned as MP while five party legislators also sent their resignations to the assembly speaker.

Rao sent his resignation to Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar stressing the need to hold consultations with all political parties on the formation of a separate state.

On the Other Hand Home Minister P.Chidambaram made a statement

“A large number of political parties are divided on the issue. There is a need to hold wide-ranging consultations with all political parties and groups in the state, “The government of India will take steps to involve all concerned in the process.”

It is really a tough time for Congress and would be interesting to see How Congress would be going to handle this issye

Gujarat – Voting Would Be Now Compulsary in Gujarat

Gujarat Has become the First State of India where Voting is now mandatory in all Local Body Elections.

This Happened on Saturday Controversial local bodies’ bill was passed by Gujarat assembly

This bill would make voting mandatory in elections to all seven municipal corporations, 159 municipalities, 26 district panchayats, 223 taluka panchayats and in 13,713 village panchayats of the state.

The opposition, led by Congress, opposed the mandatory voting provision
and said that it was contradictory to the constitutional provisions,
but supported raising of seats for women where as chief minister Narendra Modi termed it a “move to strengthen democracy”.

This bill raise the reservation of seats for women in local self governance bodies from 33% to 50%, which was supported by Both Political Parties
